Wilkins Public School is a dynamic school with enthusiastic and dedicated staff who work closely with parents and carers to ensure educational achievements and opportunities for all students across all stages of learning. Our school has a strong community culture and our goal is to make a positive difference for all students.

As you browse through the website you will find countless examples of how the school community works together to provide a caring, culturally diverse, tolerant and happy learning environment for our students.  Arts are highly valued at Wilkins Public School. We have excellent dance groups and well supported school bands and ensembles and a dedicated music programs. We also recognise the importance of teaching foreign languages to children so children in Years 1 - 6 can choose to learn Italian, Portuguese or Vietnamese as part of the curriculum.  We are fortunate to enjoy large leafy grounds that provide children with lots of space to learn and play.

Our core values are consideration, care and courage.  We also place great importance on honesty and respect for each other.  We endeavour, together with parents and the community, to reinforce these values in a happy, safe and caring environment.  We have high expectations for all children and provide holistic, structured care and support at the welfare, curriculum, community and relationships levels. We consider all students’ needs and adapt the curriculum to support and extend their learning outcomes.
